Job Description

FLINT is seeking a General Foreperson with leadership experience for a permanent, casual, on call job in Saskatoon, SK starting November 5, 2024. In this position, you will enjoy a casual schedule (estimated 80 hrs per month), 8-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked. 

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply. 


Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in industrial or construction site
  • Valid Journeyperson certificate/ticket. 
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: 
    • CSTS-09 or CSTS-2020 
    • Standard First Aid 
    • WHMIS 
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions. 
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. 
  • Must have own reliable transportation to site. 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits. 


Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
