**Opportunity**:We are seeking applicants for Electrical Foreperson(s) to help support a underground project at the Cameco McArthur River site located in Northern Saskatchewan.
Tron is pleased to be able to offer an underground bonus, signing and retention bonuses. Travel to Saskatoon (if required) will be compensated, this will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Duration: 3 - 4 months, with possibility of extension.
**Job Summary**:Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of trades-craft persons who construct, renovate, and maintain structures of building materials, and build, and install interior finishing in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings; establish methods to meet work schedules, and coordinate work activities with other departments.
**Job Title**:Electrical Foreman
**Reports To**: General Foreman and/or Construction Manager.
**Duties**:
- Actively promote a safe work environment and ensure the health and safety of workers.
- Maintain current working knowledge of regulatory bodies: OHS Regulations, Mine Regulations, and Employment Standards.
- Assign work to the crew and work with the Construction Manager to create work schedules. Provide progress updates as required.
- Ensure workers reporting to the Foreperson comply with Tron and site policies, procedures and safety requirements; this includes ensuring workers are “Fit for Duty,” as the main point of contact.
- Prepare various reports and documentation where required. This may include Site-Employee Evaluations, Quality documents, Notification of Consumables - Receipt.
- Prepare production and reports.
- Supervise workers and projects.
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Make certain that material is available to the crews and needs are communicated to the CM in a timely manner. Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as necessary.
- Provide crews with technical aspects of the work and support them as required. Oversee apprenticeship training.
- Train or arrange for training.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Read blueprints and drawings.
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.
- Assist safety personnel with weekly meetings, as reasonably necessary.
**Qualifications**:
- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Certification in a electrical trade is considered an asset.
- 5+ years working experience as foreperson or supervisor.
- T-Sask CertificationFf
- **Underground Supervisor Certificate & First Aid**
**Safety Certification Required**:
- WHMIS 2015.
- Confined Space.
- Fire Extinguisher Training.
- Fall Protection.
- AWP.
- Rigging and Hoisting Certification.
- Ability to pass a minimum panel 5 urine Drug and Alcohol and Breath Alcohol test.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of project-specific experience, as well as planning and supervision.
- Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
- Ability to positively motivate individuals and teams to meet or exceed project expectations.
- Certifications: Journeyperson or Red Seal Designation; WHMIS 2015; LSE; First Aid, CPR-C, AED, Underground Supervisor Ticket.
