Job Summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking a seasoned mechanical professional to fill the role of General Foreperson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects and client expectations, ensuring an efficient working environment with low production costs, and monitoring employee compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and client expectations to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Report on employee performance, working conditions, and productivity to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure a safe and productive work environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular work inspections.
  • Assign tasks to meet client standards and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular work inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to work on tools while guiding others.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead by example.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and understand complex instructions.
  • Ability to display a safe and productive work ethic.
  • Handles administrative duties, including completing required documents.
  • Reads and interprets drawings.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience on an industrial or construction site.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
