ROLE SUMMARY:

We’re looking for someone who wants to spend Summer 2024 merchandising these awesome brands in a way that will lead to a future with more cheers. We are recruiting for a Summer Sales and Merchandising Associate. This is an entry level, full time contract position which includes the use of a company vehicle, and the opportunity to grow within a leading beer company.

This position operates within a diverse market and focuses on improving sales through the implementation of various visual marketing tools and campaigns. Successful candidates should have a passion for working with others in a client-facing environment, and a strong desire for a long-term, sales focused, growing career within Labatt.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Entry-level summer position for someone looking to start or develop their career

Support day-to-day sales & marketing activities as required and directed 

Placement of temporary and permanent signage to best impact the consumer experience in partner accounts, venues, and/or brand activations

Building of brand and promotional displays in retail environments

Delivering promotional material to licensees within specific timeframes

Building positive relationships with key venue & event contacts

Attending, managing, and participating in brand experience promotions

Being available ‘on-call’ for the duration of events and promotions

Assist in the general set up and tear down of events

Completion of daily call report

Occasional miscellaneous organizational duties in the warehouse/brewery/sales office

QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently enrolled in post-secondary education

Valid unrestricted driver’s license required

Smart Serve Certification an asset

Positive & enthusiastic attitude

You enjoy working independently, while being part of a fast-paced, team environment

Outstanding time management skills, coupled with the ability to coordinate and prioritize
