The Transitional Care Unit (TCU) Dietitian has a direct reportingrelationship to the Manager, Transitional Care Unit,

with a matrix reporting relationship for dietitian practice to theDirector, Health Professions and Collaborative

Practice. The TCU Dietitian will perform all duties of aRegistered Dietitian, following the scope of practice defined by

the College of Dietitians of Ontario.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

* Current registration in good standing with the College ofDietitians of Ontario required

* Experience in long term care and medicine inpatients an asset

* Effective patient/family counseling skills

* Entry level enteral and parenteral nutrition support skillsrequired

* Effective communication, facilitation and presentation skills

* Proficient in computer applications and software

* Experience working in an interprofessional team and healthcarerelated food services

* Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and conflictresolution skills

* Ability to work independently

* Demonstrated organizational skills

* Proven flexibility and ability to adapt positively to change

* Effective time management skills

Salary Range: $41.680 to 53.280
