The TCU Dietitian has a direct reporting relationship to the Manager, Transitional Care Unit, with a matrix reporting

relationship for dietitian practice to the Director, Health Professions and Collaborative Practice. The TCU Dietitian will

perform all duties of a Registered Dietitian, following the scope of practice defined by the College of Dietitians of

Ontario.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario required
- Experience in long term care and medicine inpatients an asset
- Effective patient/family counseling skills
- Entry level enteral and parenteral nutrition support skills required
- Effective communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Experience working in an interprofessional team and healthcare related food services
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Proven flexibility and ability to adapt positively to change
- Effective time management skills

Salary Range: $41.680 to 53.280
