Position Overview:

As a Total Rewards & HRIS Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and administering benefits and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) processes within our organization. Your role involves ensuring that employees receive competitive rewards, maintaining accurate HR data and supporting various HR initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and wellness initiatives. Handle open enrollment processes and address benefits-related inquiries. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and guidelines. Create and distribute required benefit enrolment emails. Maintain the Sun Life enrolment tool (opening enrolment for new hires, life events, etc.) Assist Finance with monthly benefit reconciliation & validate HRIS file from Sun Life. Collect payments for premiums for associates that are on leave of absence. Approve RRSP enrolments and enter contribution changes. Reconcile and remit bi-weekly Manulife contribution files. Communicate changes in benefits to employees. Provide guidance on benefit enrollment, eligibility, and related matters. Assist employees with inquiries regarding their rewards package. Collect and analyze data related to benefits and rewards. Generate reports for management and HR teams. Coordinates communication changes in benefits to employees with our communications department. Conducts workshops or training sessions on total reward programs. Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT or vendors (SNOW etc.). Act as first point of contact for payroll system password resets. Maintain data integrity by validating and auditing HRIS records. Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes through system automation. Assist with HRIS implementation and enhancements when applicable. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of related experience.  A degree in Human Resources or PCP designation is preferred. Knowledge of theory, principles and practices of total rewards, compensation, pay structure design and development, short term / long term incentive programs. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat with advanced Excel skills. Excellent organization and mathematical skills. High level to attention to detail.
