The Senior Manager plays a key role as part of the Strategy & Operations team who support strategy, technology, risk management, employee experience, learning and development for the RBBO team. This role is responsible to plan and lead key strategic projects with impacts across both RBBO and GO/All-bank. In addition, the team member plays a key role in defining our strategy and measuring results.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Lead projects of varying size and complexity that have impacts across the Retail and Business Banking Operations.
  • Support the Strategy & Operations and RBBO leadership team in defining, measuring, and reporting on business strategies and key performance indicators (both short- and long-term goals).
  • Represent the RBBO on Global Operations and Enterprise-wide projects as assigned, giving you the opportunity to work with peers across Scotiabank and build a strategic network while making an impact to our clients and employees.
  • Connect all-bank strategy to RBBO goals and translate business objectives and strategies to actionable recommendations and initiatives.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have:   

  • Proven problem-solving ability working with a wide-range of business partners and geographies on complicated operational objectives.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Agile projects and concepts. Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, etc. are an asset.
  • 2+ years experience with data visualization in Power BI and/or related tools
  • Excellent communication and planning skills to deliver executive presentation material, compelling problem statements and recommendations, and coordinating team and executive meetings and events.
  • 5+ years experience working with medium to high complexity projects both of a business process and technical nature is an asset.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is an asset to support the global nature of the work assignments.
