**Purpose**

The Manager, Delivery & Services is responsible for the development and deployment of Smart Automation (BOTS)across all AML Operations. This includes working with a large number of stakeholders across the Bank in supporting in the facilitation, reporting and ongoing maintenance of BOTS to further AML Operations strategic goals.

**Business Lead Smart Automation**:

- Support the Delivery & Services Senior Manager and Director in the design and implementation of Smart Automation (BOTS) across AML Operations global footprint inclusive of Financial Intelligence

Units, where required
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities to implement efficiencies identified through BOTS
- Drive the implementation of standardization of BOTS across all AML Operations in Canada and Internationally
- Act as the central point of contact for automation solutions within AML Operations and facilitate interactions with key partners: Senior Manager & Product Owner of Smart Automation, Enterprise

Productivity
- Work with AML Operations management on the development and standardization of metrics reporting (e.g., usage metrics, KPIs, service tickets raised, etc.)
- Lead, coordinate and conduct meetings, facilitate working sessions and presentations with Senior Management on the project’s progress
- Assist and track the development of new automation projects and manage the implementation, including monitoring progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, providing progress reports and

recommending actions
- Support the senior leadership, AML Risk, Audit team and other stakeholders with ad-hoc requests

**Strategic Initiatives**:
Actively participates in the various project phases from requirements through to implementation to sustainment by:

- Analyzing data to identify trends, interdependencies among variables and be able to define project scope, developing action plans and gaining agreement to solutions from all stakeholders;
- Diagnosing/projecting potential benefits as well as establishing costs/benefits of a particular project;
- Developing implementation strategy/communication strategy and ensure acceptance by key parties;
- Coordinating and developing pilot/proof of concept as applicable as well as ensuring UAT is completed and satisfactory as applicable;
- Identifying training needs for affected departments and participate in the development and scheduling of training strategies/programs/tooIs;
- Researching existing systems and procedures and analyzing if the proposed changes are valid, implement-able and consistent with departmental resources; and
- Reviewing all policy/legal procedural aspects of the project with appropriate parties to ensure compliance.

**Relationship Management - Develops and maintains strategic relationships by**:

- Establishing, building and maintaining relationships with internal AML Operations key stakeholders and departments within Canadian, International and Global Banking & Market and Global Operations
- Working with a diverse working group, with varying expertise and job levels
- Building good working relations with external vendors and internal/external technology partners, as applicable

**Education / Experience**
- University Degree or equivalent and a minimum of minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry preferable in a global/matrix organization in compliance/risk management, project

management, Audit and/or critical unit.
- Reporting and communications experience
- Solid knowledge of the Scotiabank Group and AML/KYC policies and procedures
- Results oriented, highly motivated
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Business Management or equivalent
- Self-reliant and pro-active approach to work
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills required to prepare communications and training and interact effectively with internal and external parties
- Thorough knowledge of the Bank's interactive systems including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
