Overview:
Where there is growth, there is opportunity The Transmission Business Unit (TBU) is currently recruiting for a Specialist, Customer Advisor, to join the team. The successful candidate will work directly with customers, as well as in cross-functional teams throughout the Pembina organization.
The Transmission Business Unit (TBU), part of Pembina's Pipeline Division has transmission pipeline assets that have been developed through the strategic acquisition of key natural gas, condensate and specification ethane transportation infrastructure assets. These assets are positioned in some of the most prolific gas producing regions in western Canada and the United States. Pembina's primary long-haul transmission pipeline assets include the Vantage Pipeline, Cochin Pipeline, AEGS, and the Alliance Pipeline.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:- Support Pembina’s safety culture of "Zero by Choice" and the “Life Saving Rules”. To read more about our Life Saving Rules, visit pembina.com/safety;
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, interconnects, and partners;
- Define, develop, and implement policies and procedures to ensure a consistent top decile customer experience;
- Collaborate with customers and internal service providers to optimize service provision at all key touchpoints;
- Establish customer service metrics and monitor performance;
- Be accountable and responsible for the Alliance Pipeline Customer Service Hotline;
- Collaborate with Alliance FERC and CER regulatory teams to develop and draft tariff provisions to support both customer needs and pipeline operations;
- Advise customers with respect to accessing and utilizing transportation services on Canadian and US assets;
- Be the Voice of the Customer for strategic planning and optimization activities;
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team that includes logistics, engineering, financial, legal and other functional groups;
- Identify and quantify risks and develop mitigation strategies;
- Ensure compliance with transportation tariffs and other regulatory requirements; and
- Promote and support an equitable, inclusive, and diverse workplace.
- Business, Engineering or Legal degree (or a combination of other relevant 4-year degree and practical experience);
- Minimum 15 + years related industry experience;
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external parties up to and including the Senior Executive level;
- Strong analytical skills with solid business and financial acumen, familiarity with economic analysis of alternatives, and selection of premium opportunities;
- Solid knowledge of North American Hydrocarbon transportation systems and markets;
- Knowledge of Quorum Software would be an asset;
- Proven ability to establish strong internal and external relationships;
- Experience in contract negotiation, preparation, analysis, and execution;
- Energetic, resilient, collaborative, and goal-oriented;
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion; and
- Experience with complex service delivery models would be an asset.
