Duties and Responsibilities

: Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding staffing policies and procedures. Collaborate with company leadership to understand job requirements and design tailored training plans. Utilize various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates within the organization. Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications. Conduct phone screenings and interviews to evaluate internal candidate fit, skills, experience, and interest. Evaluate candidates’ soft skills, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Contact provided references to verify candidate credentials and experience. Gather insights on internal candidates’ past performance and work behavior. Implement strategies to involve, develop, and promote internal candidates within the organization. Collect feedback from hiring managers on internal candidate development and promotion plans. Convey the company’s culture, values, and opportunities for internal career growth. Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks related to internal staffing and talent development. Coordinate and oversee internal training programs to develop skills and competencies required for internal job opportunities. Identify training needs within the organization based on internal recruitment trends and skill gaps. Continuously assess and update internal training programs to align with evolving organizational needs and internal recruitment strategies. Manage recruitment, staffing, and training data through the employee portal.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in staffing/recruitment. Minimum 2 years of experience in a talent development role. Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration is an asset. Demonstrated expertise in career advisory/coaching and adult training is an asset. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Ability to quickly adapt to and leverage new technologies. Experience in CRM, ATS, and HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, Workday, and/or others is a requirement. Experience in creating processes and workflows for internal staffing processes and employee talent development is a requirement.
