Job Description:

Are you a seasoned Service Designer with a passion for user-centered design? We're seeking a talented individual to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary service design projects for a high-impact initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Design Leadership: Lead and coordinate service design projects, defining project approach and leading key service design activities.
  • User-Centered Design: Plan, lead, and coordinate the design, development, prototype testing, and implementation of new service delivery solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Review service design aspects post-implementation to assess performance and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Thinking: Respond to emerging business and policy issues, developing innovative integrated/digital service delivery strategies.
  • Tool Development: Design, develop, and deploy service design tools, methods, processes, and standards.
  • Research and Analysis: Research and analyze integrated service requirements, considering a user-centered perspective.
  • Change Management: Facilitate change management with service providers and client ministries.
  • Collaboration: Participate in business planning activities and coordinate service design engagement processes.
  • Expert Consultation: Provide service design expertise to service owners, managers, clients, and users.
  • Best Practice Adoption: Research trends, developments, and best practices in service design.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Lead and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in solution functional design
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or Salesforce CRM
  • Knowledge of AODA compliance guidelines
  • Proficiency in service design principles, techniques, and methodologies
  • Expertise in FIGMA prototyping
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design, content strategy, and user-centered design
  • Familiarity with government policies, standards, and legislation for digital service delivery
  • Experience with SEO, journey mapping, user stories, information architecture, content auditing, wireframing, prototyping, persona development, user research, and content testing
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA), including mobile devices
  • Proficiency in Agile product development tools and techniques
  • GIS Solutions experience
  • Strong analytical skills and systematic problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in teams
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize innovative solutions
  • Experience facilitating workshops and meetings
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to change
