What You'll Do

Partner with cross-functional teams (Deal Desk, Legal, Sale and Sale Operation, FP&A, and other Finance teams) for deal review during contract negotiations and monthly close tasksAssist the team (Sr Analyst and Manager) in reviewing contracts and identifying non-standard termsReview contracts to ensure compliance with company guidelines and revenue recognition accounting standardsAssist in maintaining and updating internal documentation for revenue policies, procedures, controls, and SOX compliancePrepare SSP schedules to support monthly reviews, quarterly audits, and external reporting processesPrepare schedules to support for close activities and audit requirements, and external reporting processesProvide input for ongoing development and improvement on systems and operation processesCollaborate with FP&A to analyze forecast versus actual revenue, deferred revenue schedulesReview and prepare journal entries and reconciliations for revenue and related accounts (revenue, deferred revenue, deferred costs, AR, and/or unbilled AR)Assist with ad hoc reporting 

Who You Are

2+ years of revenue accounting and operations experience with Accounting degree requiredSolid planning and prioritization skills. Demonstrates high energy with the ability to remain flexible and change priorities in a challenging and fast-paced environmentProven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and often ambiguous work environmentProven ability to independently take ownership and manage assigned tasksStrong oral and written communication skills and customer service skills is required, as well as eagerness to learn and take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment Must be a team player and self-starterIntermediate/advanced Excel skills requiredDetail oriented with analytical and problem-solving skillsSystems experience or desire to learn new systems (Oracle ERP and Salesforce)
