We are currently seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Finance and working within the Finance team in Guelph, Ontario, this role will be responsible for the management and direction of the day-to-day functions of the accounting department.

What you will do: 

Lead the Accounts Payable functionCoordinate all month-end and year-end activitiesEstablish and maintain fiscal files and transaction recordsIdentify and implement system and procedural efficienciesEnsure trial balance accounts are accurate and reconciledGeneral accounting and AP tasks as required to meet deadlinesTeam leadership and coaching 

What you need to succeed:

CPA designation5 years’ experience in Senior accounting roles with leadership responsibilities Experience managing, coaching and developing teamsAdvanced computer skills, particularly with MS Office and accounting SoftwareProven problem solving and analytical skills High attention to detail and accuracyCommunication in French is an asset but not required.
