We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our clients team in Richmond, British Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various procurement tasks such as obtaining vendor quotes, managing procurement requests, and overseeing buying processes. Your role also involves maintaining accurate records and ensuring all procurement functions are carried out efficiently. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, a car is also needed for this opportunity.


Responsibilities:


• Oversee the procurement process, ensuring all functions are carried out efficiently and effectively

• Handle procurement requests, ensuring they are accurately processed and recorded

• Obtain quotes from vendors, ensuring they align with RFQs

• Carry out competitive bidding processes for certain items, ensuring the best price and quality

• Ensure all procurement records are accurately maintained and updated

• Track the delivery dates of ordered items, ensuring timely delivery and receipt

• Review the procurement decisions with the team for approval

• Ensure all received items are checked and match the purchase order.


• Minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Chain

• Thorough understanding of buying processes

• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes

• Proficient in handling procurement requests

• Ability to manage procurement functions effectively

• Familiarity with bidding processes

• Must have a vehicle due to location

• Skilled in vendor quotes management

• Expertise in RFQ (Request For Quotation) process
