Laboratory Technologist I

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Additional Required Qualifications:Able to work with exposure to chemicals and gloves. Chemicals may include but not limited to formalin, xylene, bleach.
Preferred Qualifications:Anatomic Pathology experience in a clinical setting within the past 10 years. Experience within the last 2 years preferred.Experience grossing up to level IV.Basic LIS and Microsoft computer skills.Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required (i.e. more than 75% of time on the job.Experience with performing and assessing special stains would be an asset.
