Validate and correct assembly specifications or manufacturing routines for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components; Interpret drawings and other documents from the engineering department; Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components. Define the tools required for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing. Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies, working closely with the engineering, materials logistics, quality and production departments. Take an active part in production support by coordinating the resolution of technical problems with other support departments. Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies, and take part in research and development projects.How to thrive in this role?
You have a college or university diploma in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing or a minimum of 1-3 years in a related discipline; You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and analytical skills; You are logical and mechanically minded; You are familiar with Ms Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); You are familiar with computer-aided drafting software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia, etc; You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP...; You are an excellent team player, with a reputation for perseverance and sound judgment; You are fluent in both spoken and written French, and have a good knowledge of English.Please note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed for this position We’re not looking for the perfect candidate, we’re looking for great talent and resourcefulness.
