The opportunity

Working within our Contract Administration team, the Bilingual Recovery Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the recovery of asset(s) resulting from a default on the contract. Additionally, you will provide and maintain excellent customer service with both internal and external customers; and enhance the recovery and liquidation of assets by mitigating risks and minimizing loss exposure.

Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate the recovery and transportation of assets with a dedicated list of external recovery agents (bailiffs, liquidators and other vendors) in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as collection/debt repayment regulations.
  • Provide recovery agents with the necessary and accurate information to ensure successful recovery of assets.
  • Manage recovery files, analyzing and making decisions with respect to best practices (i.e. recovery, write off, legal action).
  • Negotiate payment plans, settlements and equipment returns; weighing out risk/loss versus gain.
  • Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with company or regulatory standards and policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Fluent in French and English, (written and verbal)
  • 2 years of experience in: Administration, Collections and/or Financial Services
  • Business Administration diploma or equivalent training
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Keen attention to detail with proven experience maintaining accurate documentation
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, work independently and thrive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Capability to think proactively and resolve problems logically and efficiently
  • Intermediate in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn other applications and programs
  • Working knowledge of compliance laws pertaining to Collections would be considered and a strong asset

L'opportunité

Au sein de notre équipe d'administration des contrats, le Coordinateur bilingue du recouvrement est chargé de faciliter le recouvrement des actifs résultant d'un manquement au contrat. En outre, vous fournirez et maintiendrez un excellent service à la clientèle, tant interne qu'externe, et améliorerez le recouvrement et la liquidation des actifs en atténuant les risques et en minimisant l'exposition aux pertes.

Responsabilités :
  • Coordonner le recouvrement et le transport des actifs avec une liste dédiée d'agents de recouvrement externes (huissiers, liquidateurs et autres vendeurs) conformément aux politiques et procédures de l'entreprise ainsi qu'aux réglementations en matière de recouvrement et de remboursement des dettes.
  • Fournir aux agents de recouvrement les informations nécessaires et exactes pour assurer le succès du recouvrement des actifs.
  • Gérer les dossiers de recouvrement, analyser et prendre des décisions en ce qui concerne les meilleures pratiques (c'est-à-dire recouvrement, radiation, action en justice).
  • Négocier des plans de paiement, des règlements et des restitutions d'équipements, en évaluant les risques/pertes par rapport aux gains.
  • Respecter les contrôles de conformité/risques opérationnels applicables, conformément aux normes et politiques de l'entreprise ou de la réglementation.
Connaissances, compétences et aptitudes :
  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (à l'écrit et à l'oral).
  • 2 ans d'expérience en : Administration, recouvrement et/ou services financiers
  • Diplôme en administration des affaires ou formation équivalente
  • Excellentes capacités d'analyse et de prise de décision
  • Solides capacités interpersonnelles et de négociation
  • Excellentes capacités de communication, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit
  • Capacité à établir et à maintenir des relations de travail coopératives avec les parties prenantes internes et externes
  • Souci du détail et expérience avérée dans la tenue d'une documentation précise
  • Capacité à maintenir un haut niveau de confidentialité, à travailler de manière indépendante et à s'épanouir dans un environnement en évolution rapide.
  • Capacité à penser de manière proactive et à résoudre les problèmes de manière logique et efficace.
  • Maîtrise de MS Office et capacité à apprendre rapidement d'autres applications et programmes
  • Une connaissance pratique des lois relatives à la conformité en matière de recouvrement serait considérée comme un atout majeur.
