Civeo Canada is recruiting for SR IT Compliance Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

3 plus years of information technology and audit experience (general information technology, application, and infrastructure controls) within a public accounting firms risk function with an emphasis on SOX." IT SOX compliance duties including responsible for partnering with various stakeholders on the maintenance and execution of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance processes, specifically information technology controls. Support the review and execution of IT application controls, information produced the entity (IPE) and completeness controls. Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance including documenting payment card data flows, maintaining self-assessment documentation, and ensuring compliance with standards and requirements.  Support regional data privacy regulations through the deployment and monitoring of automated tools deployed to minimize data loss.  Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk. Developing and implementing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues Assist with budgeting and other financial processes associated with operating the IT function. Providing guidance on compliance matters to company personnel. Collaborating with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution. Staying up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations and ensuring that the company is in compliance with them.

Qualifications / Requirements

BA or BS Degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Three plus years of information technology and audit experience (general information technology, application, and infrastructure controls) within a public accounting, and/or internal audit function. Familiarity with internal control and IT frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, ITIL, ITGCC, SOX 404, and PCI.  Ability to assist in the planning, evaluation, documentation, testing and remediation phases of internal and external audits. Good knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices, specifically audit methodologies, risk assessment, sampling techniques, audit documentation and report writing. Demonstrated experience in effective management reporting. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Effective communicator, ability to build relations & manage expectations. Knowledge of JDE and Oracle financial systems is an asset.

Travel: Occasional travel to Australia and the US
