Our Ideal Candidate

Allnorth/Dynamysk is currently sourcing an Intermediate to Senior Automation and Controls specialist for a project in Yorkton SK. The ideal candidate would have strong communication skills as they will be interfacing with both our clients and our head office Engineering teams. This candidate would be local to Yorkton or surrounding areas, but accommodation/meals/transportation will be considered for the right candidate. 

A Day in the Life

Provide Plant Maintenance for Automation / Controls support to multidisciplinary teams and third-party vendors Understanding and development of engineering deliverables: P&IDs, Shutdown Keys, Control System Architectures, Control Narratives, Panel Drawings, I/O Drawings, etc Strong Programming / Configuration of PLC systems including Rockwell PlantPAX and others Participate in project planning and execution of critical tasks Support to commission systems and perform FAT/SAT’s as required Communicate to head office engineering teams for support. General office / project tasks.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Post-secondary degree/diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized faculty or equivalent qualification 5+ years experience in the Controls and Automation industry as an Engineer, Technologist, and/or project manager, technically delivering on projects Experience with network architecture design, system virtualization is an asset A proven self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude who is motivated by solving complex challenges A strong client-focused approach, dedicated to providing exceptional client experiences to our internal and external customers Ability to multi-task, exercise good judgment and prioritize workload through outstanding organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
