Our expectations:
The Inventory Control Assistant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the continuous inventory system by producing and generating various reports and investigating inventory adjustments. This position is a key go-to for store operations and works with a high level of autonomy. Your role:
- Generate and analyze various reports such as sales margin analysis, purchase order activity, and check out error records
- Enter and adjust store use inventory, cycle counting batches, and other inventory-related data
- Conduct price override adjustments
- Collect, receive authorization, input, and file SIU forms
- Investigate scanning issues and review generic (dump) SKUs and invoices
- Investigate miscellaneous data integrity issues as they arise
- Troubleshoot IT issues with store operations
The qualifications we are looking for:
- Ability to maintain accurate data integrity
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and provide support to other team members
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
- Prior retail, warehouse receiving, and logistic experience an asset
