General Information:

Reporting to the Managing Director of North America, Hitachi Energy is seeking for an Operating Unit Manager who will implement the Hub and Business Unit strategy and ensure business development in the operating unit, with responsibility for profit and loss (P&L).

Responsibilities:

You guide, motivate and develop a team of professionals, project managers and project engineers.

You build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in Canada to ensure high customer satisfaction and develop the market opportunities.

You ensure the execution of projects yearly according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality and financial results.

Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.

Formulate strategic and operational objectives.

Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.

Creating a vision for sustainability

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.

Minimum 15 years of experience in the energy sector or similar.

Management and sales or project execution experience.

Good intercultural skills.

Bilingual French and English
