The ServiceNow Developer will be expected to provide the following services:
Work as part of the technical team, to develop ServiceNow solutions including but not limited to processes/workflows and reports; this may include the full range of requirements and feasibility analysis, design, testing, quality assurance, implementation, and documentation.
Perform regular platform testing, module administration (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, etc) security administration, integration testing, application upgrades etc. as required.
Analyse software change/enhancement requests and implement changes within the production systems.
Troubleshoot bugs, fix defects and support users of applications developed by the ServiceNow development team.

Responsibilities
Experience:
The ServiceNow Developer (contractor) will be expected to have the following experience:
3-5 years of related ServiceNow administration and implementation experience; including experience administering a ServiceNow instance, managing the overall security of the platform, gathering and interpreting business requirements, developing workflows, business
rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, and catalog items.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or Certified Implementation Specialist in one of the following: ITSM or ITOM.
Experience with customization of ServiceNow, including proficiency in JavaScript, Custom Tables, HTML/CSS is an asset.
Experience integrating ServiceNow application(s) with third-party systems/applications via APIs is an asset.
Experience in Agile software development practices is an asset.
Ability to work with all levels of management and technical staff to analyze complex issues while maintaining professionalism, with the ability to communicate complex ideas/processes in simple terminology.
Ability to plan and coordinate workload effectively.
Ability to work and collaborate within a team environment and independently, with a client/user orientation.
Qualifications
Skills required
ITSM - 3 to 5 years of experience.
ITOM - 3 to 5 years of experience.
HTML/HTML5, CSS, and SASS - 3 to 5 years of experience.
JavaScript-JQuery/Angular JS - 3 to 5 years of experience.
Agile Kanban or Agile Scrum - - 3 to 5 years of experience.
Technical Design Documentation - 3 to 5 years of experience.
Summary
The following services are anticipated from the ServiceNow Developer:
Participate in the technical team's development of ServiceNow solutions, which may encompass the entire spectrum of requirements and feasibility analysis, design, testing, quality assurance, implementation, and documentation. This includes, but is not limited to, processes/workflows and reports.
As needed, carry out routine platform testing, security administration, integration testing, application updates, and module administration (such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, etc.).
Examine requests for software enhancements or adjustments, then apply the modifications to the operational systems.
Diagnose issues, correct flaws, and assist users of apps created by the ServiceNow development team.
