What you’ll do:
Stay informed and up to date on industry knowledge, trends and the competitive landscape. Partner with strategic business units to consolidate market and industry research, lead market research studies, research emerging markets and recommend market-entry and growth strategies. Proactively identify and evaluate new business opportunities that support the growth of the CRS, leading to robust pipeline of potential acquisitions. Work closely with operational and functional leaders to develop comprehensive financial and valuation models. This includes vetting and stress testing models, conducting profitability and economic analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing financial metrics. Manage the Acquisitions process from the conceptual planning phase through to transaction close and integration planning. Prepare and present strategic recommendations to business leaders and senior management; lead reviews and discussions on potential business opportunities. Work with the Project and Integration Managers to transition growth related projects to the business units or local Co-ops. Finalize the process by developing “Lessons Learned” after each transaction to enable continuous improvement.Who you’ll work with :
The Team: You will work closely with the Corporate Development Team and will report into the Growth & Business Development Director. This team strives to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration to continue to develop and grow the CRS.
The Collaborators: You will work closely with senior executives, other business unit leaders, Co-op Member Relations and Business Advisors and local Co-op leaders to provide guidance and support on growth opportunities and potential acquisitions.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
Have 8+ years of experience in multifaceted organizations with a strong focus in mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning. Have a Degree in Commerce, Engineering, Law or related fields (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered) Have a strong understanding of finance, accounting and business strategy Have a designation in one of the following professions: CBV or CPA preferred, CFA, CGA or MBA also acceptedWhat we offer:
