3.Summary of theopportunity:
Client Overview: The Coalition a flagship firstparty studio withinXbox Game Studios and home to the critically acclaimed Gears of Warseries.
Role Summary: As aGameplay Animation Outsource Manager you will help deliverhighquality animations by working closely with the Lead GameplayAnimators and external partners. Your role is essential inachieving key milestones and reinforcing the quality bar set by theAnimationteam.

4.What are the keyresponsibilities
Act as a bridge between the internal Gameplay Animation team andexternal partners.
Partner withAnimation Director and Lead Gameplay Animators to train andreinforce animation creation bestpractices.
Assist inonboarding/offboarding of new externalpartners.
Work with theProduction team to address roadblocks with externalpartners.
Review work submittedby external partners and ensure it meets qualitystandards.
Maintain projectmanagement tools with uptodateinformation.
Ensure work iscompleted on time on budget and meets qualityexpectations.
Establish andmaintain communication with external partners includingavailability outside of normal workinghours.

5.What experience are we looking for to drivesuccess
MUSTHave Skills andQualifications:
5 years ofexperience in gameplay animation.
5 years of experience working with externalteams.
Shipped a AAA orequivalent title in an outsource managerrole.
Willingness to traveldomestically or internationally 34 times peryear.
Good visual and technicalunderstanding of gameplay animation creation steps andrequirements.
Proficiency in Mayaand Motion Builder.
Experience inkey frame and motion captureanimation.
Solid understanding ofbody mechanics timing spacing weight andappeal.
Selfmotivated creativeproblem solver team player.
Familiarity with managing projects using project managementtools.
Ability to work well withdeadlines and beselfmotivated.

Preferred Skills andQualifications:
Experienceworking in Unreal.
Knowledge ofthe Gears of WarFranchise.
