IT Operations Analyst

As part of the Global IT team theIT Operations Analysts execute the processes and procedures within thetechnology tower and provide support for planning activities within the Drax ITenvironments.
Day to day you’ll…
Document all operational systems and processes within the technology tower Work within the Operations support teams to contribute to the configuration, maintenance and operation of technologies within the tower; as required, work with multi-disciplined project teams to deliver new systems and functionality Install, configure and test the various components of the environment within the technology tower Provide day to day maintenance, patching, monitoring, performance, capacity and availability management of the environment Produce regular reviews, reports and audit logs for compliance Work with Group IT Operations support teams to assist with escalations and requestsSupport the service desk when required There’s great potential fortraining and development in this role as well as future career progression.
Who we’re looking for:
Ideally, you’ll have already done an IT support type role (1st/2nd line support) and currently be in an infrastructure support type position andhave experience in a corporate environment. You’ll be qualified by experience,but any type of infrastructure or server training/qualifications would beadvantageous.
You’ll need to be able to demonstrate that you can workindependently but also part of a team. This is a small IT team across the USand Canada so you’ll need to be prepared to chip in and lend a hand wheneverneeded.
