Marketing Automation Base Lead

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Automation Base Lead is pivotal in driving initiatives to improve customer experience and base management for all 3 Cogeco brands : CCX resi, CCX commercial, Oxio. He\she is responsible for driving the company's efforts to engage with the customer base from the moment they activate, throughout their customer lifecycle, with relevant, timely and convenient communications that enhance their customer experience as well as the brand’s NPS and revenue. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute base communication strategies that align with our 3 brands’ business objectives and target audiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a clear vision and roadmap for the evolution of marketing automation for the Base portfolio for all 3 brands (CCX residential, CBS and Oxio) helping optimize the full customer lifecycle, from early life / onboarding, through to yield management, churn prevention
Work with our marketing partners and DS&A teams to understand customer behaviours, to help design data driven campaigns and conduct experiments to drive engagement, retention and upsell, as well as NPS.
Translate business needs of key stakeholders into actionable Base 1:1 communication strategies.
Designs Marketing Automation Solutions (Trigger data, Perso data, Target Audience, Channel(s), Frequency etc.
Participate actively in the Retour de Brief sessions on the initiatives requiring Marketing Automation support for Base.
Lead the solution design of 1:1 communications geared to the customer Base and gain alignment from our marketing stakeholders.
Provide clear business requirements to the team responsible for execution of campaigns.
Participate in grooming sessions to ensure all details for the project execution are cohesive.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams involved in complex automated campaigns.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, proposing optimizations and capturing learnings.
Conduct post-mortem analyses to drive continuous improvement.
Foster a culture of teamwork and innovation.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
ACADEMIC TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE
4-5 years of experience in a similar role in marketing automation or CRM management.
Extensive experience with email platforms and/or marketing automation platforms, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
Strong background in CRM and relationship marketing.
Assets :
Telecommunications industry experience
Agile methodology experience
SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and propose effective solutions.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills - English is a must and French is a big plus. The position requires close collaboration with various internal and/or external partners in Ontario and the United States.
