What is the opportunity?

The Associate, Projects Intake and Planning will support the Associate Director in managing the end-to-end organizational ideation and intake process, to create a prioritized, themed backlog across strategic changes.   The function will facilitate ideas/requests through the change lifecycle from idea generation, prioritization to value realization, inclusive of benefit tracking. The role will work with Transformation & Client Solutions (T&CS) Product owners, Operations, Client Success, and Technology & Operations (T&O) stakeholders through organized communication and process to validate status, impact and benefits. The role will bring holistic visibility to the state of change by reporting on key initiative performance indicators.

The role is well-suited to people are passionate, savvy go-getter, with an ability for problem solving, desire to provide excellent user experience, results oriented, possesses strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and who enjoys working as part of a team.

What will you do?

  • Manage overall business intake process utilizing defined guard rails and processes for successful handover to IT.

  • Support the facilitation of Portfolio Planning & Review Committee for effective scoring and prioritization of ideas for solution/estimation and execution outcome.

  • Ensure a seamless transition of ideas through the change lifecycle, from idea generation to value realization.

  • Effectively work with stakeholders in T&CS, Operations, T&O, and Client Success to manage dependencies.

  • Monitor and validate the status, impact, and benefits of initiatives to ensure they align with business goals.

  • Provide regular consolidated reporting across portfolio of initiatives with a focus on financial health, status reporting, risks and dependencies to management.

  • Support on overall portfolio reporting Manage communication and change management efforts related to the ideation and intake processes.

  • Ensure clear and consistent messaging around the ideation process and related changes

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong technical skills (proficiency in MS office applications PPT, Power BI, Excel, RBC Connect)

  • Strong analytical mindset in terms of taking abstract questions and issues and structuring them into manageable and specific chunks of work

  • Strong collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration

  • Data driven reporting

  • Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project lifecycle
