Employee Relations Specialist

Based on our continued growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Specialist (Bilingual) for Empowerists. We are looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join our People & Culture team, who will report to the Director of People and Culture. While this position is 100% remote, we are looking to expand our team in Canada. Choose an item.
As a member of Empowerists the HR Generalist is a key player in handling the day-to-day HR queries such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, global mobility, etc. The goal is to ensure the People & Culture’s operations are running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.
Primary responsibilities:
Conduct employee onboarding Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation Resolve any HR-related issue that may arise Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace Assist in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies Undertake tasks around performance management Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics such as employee turnover rates Maintain employee files and records. Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team building activities. Ensure compliance with labour regulations. Maintain payroll processes, prepare employees’ compensation data. Administrate payroll-related policies and procedures. Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts or Science in Human Resources, Business administration or any other relevant field Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a related role Outstanding knowledge of MS Office Requirements and Skills:3-5 years of experience in HR Operations or Human Resources or any other relevant field Must be fluent in English and French, written and spoken. Understanding of general Human Resources policies and procedures Good knowledge of employment and/or labor laws Excellent communication and people skills Aptitude in problem-solving Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach.

Founded in 2003 by Joe Diab, Diabsolut Inc, now Empowerists, began as a ClickSoftware reseller. In 2015 with more than 70 employees the Empowerists was divided into 3 separate businesses Diabsolut FSM (ClickSoftware partner), Diabsolut Cloud Solutions (Salesforce partner) and Watershed CI our management consulting and staff augmentation business.
Seeing the need for a streamlined HRIS as our company grew in 2016, our Director of HR, Sally, saw an opportunity and launched HRWize, our HRIS solution. Today, Sally is the president of HRWize, and two new products, Earnwize (salary review tool) and Workaxle (enterprise workforce management), have been introduced under the HRWize brand.
After Salesforce acquired ClickSoftware in 2019, Diabsolut FSM and Diabsolut Cloud Solutions merged to become Diabsolut and have since gone on to become a Salesforce Summit Partner. Since 2021, we have made strategic investments to acquire Foundry52 and Emelar, also both becoming part of Diabsolut. Through these acquisitions Diabsolut strengthened their commitment to Salesforce and also entered into partnership with Certinia (was FinancialForce), becoming Certinia’s Partner of the year for delivery excellence in 2022
