Your New Role
As an assistant manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the logistics team. Your responsibilities will include: Managing- team, projects and warehouses to ensure that all the store deliveries (pallets from suppliers to stores) are on-time. You will manage the seasonal planning schedule for the service that requires communication with shipping departments and 3rd party trucking partners. The idea is to collaborate with our internal teams as well as our 3PL's to ensure the fluid motion of products to our stores while monitoring costs in routing and carriers- All while ensuring that our partners are compliant with policies and procedures.
What You Need to Succeed in This Role
To thrive in this position, you should have at least 5 years' experience in the field of trucking and customer service. You will require a good knowledge of excel and SAP with the ability to work in a fast paced environment while honing excellent leadership skills focused on results. Experience in retail is an asset and bilingualism (FR/EN) is a non-negotiable. The ability to make informed decisions under tight deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage competing priorities will set you apart. Excellent communication and collaboration skills will be key as you build working relationships with internal teams and external providers.

Votre nouveau rôle
En tant que gestionnaire adjoint, vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans le soutien de l'équipe logistique. Vos responsabilités seront les suivantes: Gérer l'équipe, les projets et les entrepôts afin de s'assurer que toutes les livraisons des magasins (palettes des fournisseurs aux magasins) sont effectuées à temps. Vous gérerez le calendrier de planification saisonnière du service qui nécessite une communication avec les services d'expédition et les partenaires de camionnage tiers. L'idée est de collaborer avec nos équipes internes ainsi qu'avec nos 3PL afin d'assurer la fluidité du mouvement des produits vers nos magasins tout en contrôlant les coûts d'acheminement et les transporteurs - tout en s'assurant que nos partenaires respectent les politiques et les procédures.
Ce qu'il faut pour réussir dans ce poste
Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous devez avoir au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans le domaine du transport routier et du service à la clientèle. Vous devrez avoir une bonne connaissance d'Excel et de SAP et être capable de travailler dans un environnement en constante évolution tout en développant d'excellentes compétences en leadership axées sur les résultats. Une expérience dans le commerce de détail est un atout et le bilinguisme (FR/EN) n'est pas négociable. Vous vous distinguerez par votre capacité à prendre des décisions éclairées dans des délais serrés, à travailler dans un environnement en constante évolution et à gérer des priorités concurrentes. D'excellentes compétences en matière de communication et de collaboration seront essentielles pour établir des relations de travail avec les équipes internes et les fournisseurs externes.
