We are offering an opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our client in the Fraser Valley As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for various human resources tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and more.


Responsibilities:


• Implementing strategies for sourcing and recruiting qualified employees for both new and vacant positions.

• Assisting with the development and updating of job descriptions for all positions.

• Work with Payroll staff to coordinate processes and provide back up as required (e.g., vacation relief).

• Coordinating with management for annual employee performance reviews and providing interpretation when needed.

• Responding to inquiries from employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, and employment standards.

• Processing benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations, and determining eligibility.

• Maintaining health and safety databases through data input and audits, ensuring all employee records are up-to-date and in compliance with applicable standards and legal requirements.

• Providing support to Health and Safety, and Employee Social Committees.

• Assisting in the administration of staff training, licensing, and accreditation requirements.

• Liaising with authorities and vendors as required.


Requirements:


• At least 5+ years of experience in a similar HR position and industry.

• Proficiency in handling Benefit Functions, including the design, evaluation, and modification of benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements.

• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to a variety of audiences.

• Knowledge and understanding of Compliance requirements in human resources, including employment laws and regulations.

• Experience in managing Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement.

• Proficiency in Hiring Processes, including the ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.

• Experience in Performance Management, including the development and execution of performance evaluation programs.

• Skills in Talent Acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.

• Proven ability to drive Employee Engagement initiatives, including the development and implementation of programs to improve employee morale and productivity.
