Job Title: Human Resources Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team at Beedie. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing support to our employees and management team in all aspects of human resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staffing: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and review candidate inventories.
  • Employee Support: Provide information or services, such as employee assistance and counselling, and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Arrange training for staff and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Administer benefits and compensation programs, including health benefits, financial benefits, and long-term benefits.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Skills: Human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
