We have an exciting role with a long-standing company based in Concord. Our client is seeking a contract Accounting Associate to join their organization within the week for a 12 month contract with possibility of extension.

The Accounting Associate will report directly to the Director of Finance and will be part of the overall finance department.

A successful candidate for this role will be be someone who is analytical, well organized and results oriented. This individual needs to have a great attitude, strong communication skills and be able to handle fast-paced work when required.

Responsibilities
 Responsible for Accounts Payable and all invoicing in compliance with company policies
 Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
 Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
 Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision
 Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
 Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial
close workbook preparation

Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in accounting.
Intermediate to advanced level skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and Power Point
2 years of experience with SAP would be considered a strong asset
