We have community, primary care and acute roles in Richmond, Vancouver, North Vancouver, Sea to Sky, Sunshine Coast, qathet, Bella Bella and Bella Coola.
Our acute care facilities include Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Emergency Department, and Richmond Hospita l, among others, offering a diverse range of opportunities.
VCH facilities provide state of the art care, provided by teams who are enthusiastic about patients. Join a well-established and rapidly growing group of NPs who practice with teams of physicians, NPs, nurses, and allied health providers.
Residencies and Supports:
We provide thorough onboarding and support for new and experienced NPs in all settings and programs. Our Urgent Care, Emergency Care, Acute Care and Mental Health and Substance Use postgraduate residencies are designed to mentor and educate NPs, helping them build competency and skills while working in dynamic team-based care environments.

Emergency Department Internal Medicine Gyne-Oncology Solid Organ Transplant Acute Care of the Elderly Urology Quick Response Team Acute Spine Unit Liver, Renal, and Bone Marrow Transplants Ortho Trauma and Thoracic Care Neurosurgery and General Hematology Burn Plastic Trauma and Vascular Surgery Multiple Sclerosis Clinic at the Centre for Brain Health Acute Care for the Elderly
Qualifications
Education and Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent degree in a relevant field. Current, full registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Eligibility to work in Canada. Clinical competency and certification in relevant specialty areas preferred.
Closing Statement
As per Ministry of Health policy, all health care workers working in publicly-funded health care facilities are required to report their past receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections. Collecting these records will allow for offering of any missing vaccines, and for appropriate actions to be taken in the event of any future exposure to a communicable disease or during outbreaks. For all new hires and appointments to Vancouver Coastal Health, you will be asked to provide this information as part of the onboarding process.
