Hybrid position

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Project Manager for our premier client in Toronto, Ontario.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications »
  • PMP certification or working towards.

Education and Experience »
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager, managing similar/complex projects, that have significant IT and operational components, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent track record managing projects of high/medium complexity, high/medium risk and budgets, and dealing with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with planning, budget management and formulation of procedures; influences resource planning.
  • Strong communication (verbal/written/presentation). Mature interpersonal skills with the ability to work with, and influence, all types of professionals.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques (e.g., PPM, MS Projects, JIRA, Visio, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall etc.)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain risk/issue logs and escalate issues to stakeholders and steering committee as appropriate.
  • Defines and maintains the roadmap and project budget.
  • Provides technical advice and leads migration development.
  • Work with executive sponsors and business managers to prioritize requirements, issues and deliverables.
