A day in the life of this role:

In this highly visible role, you will report directly to the VP, Commercial. You'll have the opportunity to spearhead the journey for VerAI's partners, unlocking new opportunities through an intimate understanding of your accounts and a keen eye on the evolving trends of the mining industry.


In this pivotal role, you'll become the ambassador for VerAI's innovations, expertly matching our cutting-edge solutions to the unique needs of our partners in the Mining sector. You're building lasting bonds, diving deep into business analytics, steering progress, and igniting a fire of loyalty among our partners.

Summary of role:

Account management and business development duties encompass conducting detailed market analyses to identify new opportunities and expansion areas, building, and maintaining relationships with key global stakeholders, and fostering cross-functional collaborations to meet account objectives. This role also involves creating customized solutions, driving strategic partnerships and growth, leading partnership deal structure negotiations, management of post-deal deliverable and milestone commitments, analyzing account performance, staying updated on global trends, and ensuring compliance and cultural sensitivity in international markets.

What we need from you:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, Geosciences or Earth Sciences
  • Minimum 5-10 years in account management and/or business development, with a proven track record in solution selling, including complex sales cycles and executive-level engagement.
  • Exceptional in relationship-building, strategic planning, and pipeline management within a matrix organization.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  • Innovative, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in CRM software, preferably Salesforce Lightning
  • Knowledge of the mining and minerals sector and value creation deal structures (e.g. royalties, streaming, JVs) is required.
