While working closely with members of the HR team, hiring managers and our in-house Talent Acquisition Specialist, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will assist with all aspects of recruitment in a high volume and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide full cycle recruitment for entry and mid level roles, including: Support and work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand job requirements and expectations Post job, screen applicants and conduct phone interviews Conduct candidate sourcing via LinkedIn and Indeed Educate and excite candidates on the exciting career potential at HUB Schedule interviews Review interview guides and provide best practice recommendations Administer pre-employment background screening and conduct reference checks Prepare and distribute offer letters Complete timely onboarding process and setup in Workday Utilize creative means and best practices to research, source, attract, and contact possible candidates to develop a diverse pool of qualified candidates Administer HUB’s Employee Referral Program Participate in recruitment events Enhance our region’s social media presence by sharing and creating inspiring, fun and innovative job postings / ads in order to engage passive candidates Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

1+ years of human resources or recruitment experience Experience working with an ATS and sourcing candidates from various channels including social media platforms Demonstrated ability to build trust and establish positive relationships with employees at all levels within the organization Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Knowledge of HR best practices and regulations, including the Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Legislation Insurance industry experience/knowledge an asset Proven track record of handling responsibilities with discretion, judgment, and maintaining confidentiality Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Reliable team-player who can organize multiple priorities at a time Ability and flexibility to travel to various offices and locations within the lower mainland

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
