MISSION

The Talent Acquisition Advisor operates as a strategic partner to the business, work across functional teams to drive OSI’s recruiting function from the ground up driving effective recruitment practices and is responsible for branding and selling a career at OSI to potential candidates around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, implement and maintain talent acquisition and sourcing strategies to support business needs Manages full cycle recruitment activities to attract and present a pool of qualified candidates for consideration, in a highly technical global environment. Act as Subject Matter Expert: provides training in effective behavioral interviews, provides guidance to the hiring team and candidates thorough the recruitment process. Recruit highly skilled engineers specialized in Systems Engineering in the naval domain. Own and deliver International Recruitment with a focus on business expansion in the EU Actively headhunt, top talent for specialized engineering roles at senior levels Act as a talent ambassador and ensures a positive recruitment experience for internal stakeholders as well as candidates. Support hiring managers in determining selection criteria, preparing job postings, processing hiring approvals, posting jobs, screening resumes, interviewing applicants, conducting reference checks and/or candidate testing Utilize and create multiple channels to generate a pipeline of qualified technical candidates, both active and passive and communicate with these candidates in all of OSI’s business markets. Build and maintain an effective talent acquisition and Social Marketing Strategy Monitor and measure recruitment results against Key Performance Indicators. Actively seeks business optimization opportunities. Ensures Diversity and inclusion is embedded at each stage of the recruitment process. Develop, launch and maintain the Careers Website Develop a Employer brand and Recruitment Marketing strategy

KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline 4+ years’ experience recruiting in a fast-paced engineering and technology field Experience recruiting in/from other countries, preferably the UK, Taiwan, EU and Australia Experience recruiting in the naval domain or in other highly regulated industries Experience hiring Executive and Director Level talent. Strong influencing and negotiation skills Excellent MS Office skills especially with Word and Excel Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Experience using Dayforce ATS is preferred. High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion and judgment Strong attention to detail Ability to problem solve and be flexible Required to obtain security clearance; flexibility to work occasional varying shifts for global recruitment as the company grows.
