Description
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:
Demonstrate a personal and corporate commitment to Safety. Hourly employee scheduling. Maintain department and employee records and information to ensure accuracy including organization charts, postings, leaves, accommodations, month end manning, discipline records, all templates, management manual, policies and procedures. Establish and maintain relationships with external service providers to ensure compensation and benefit programs are administered appropriately and cost effectively. Update employee information stored in the Archive Room and the UKG system as changes occur including general and specific accountabilities, position changes, organization structure changes etc. in order to maintain the integrity of information. Assist in recruiting of employees by preparing job postings for all methods of recruitment (internal, newspapers and electronic), prepare offers of employment, prepare hiring documents, prepare announcements and provide orientation for new hires. Assist in administering the base salary program for salaried employees including completion and analysis of salary surveys, exchanging information with peers in the market place and participating in the annual salary program. Manage and administer Human Resources Department Website (internal and external). Participate in the development and communication of human resources business, processes, policies and programs Provide employee benefits services that meet the needs of employees, facilitate problem solving of employee concerns, manage employee information and provide employment related information in a timely manner. Assist with the new employee indoctrination program through the development of information packages and documentation, initial benefits enrollment and a review of benefit and pension information.III.
