Job Summary

The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources Department at Paper Excellence. This position will be responsible for maintaining department and employee records, scheduling hourly employees, and establishing relationships with external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of department and employee records, including organization charts, postings, leaves, accommodations, and discipline records.
  • Coordinate hourly employee scheduling and maintain records of employee information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external service providers to ensure compensation and benefit programs are administered effectively.
  • Update employee information in the Archive Room and UKG system as changes occur.
  • Assist in recruiting employees by preparing job postings, offers of employment, and hiring documents.
  • Administer the base salary program for salaried employees, including salary surveys and analysis.
  • Manage and administer the Human Resources Department Website.
  • Participate in the development and communication of human resources business processes, policies, and programs.
  • Provide employee benefits services, facilitate problem-solving, and manage employee information.
  • Assist with the new employee indoctrination program.

Key Relationships

The HR Coordinator will report to the Human Resources Manager and have relationships with internal stakeholders, including managers, superintendents, supervisors, salaried employees, union executive members, and hourly employees. External relationships will be established with industry HR representatives, health and welfare plan consultants, and WorkSafe BC.
