Position Overview

The Associate Vice President (AVP) & Managing Director, Global Fixed Income, Data, Delivery and Integration, TD Securities , will report to the Vice President & Managing Director, FICCM & Market Operations, Data, Delivery, and Integration. This role will be responsible for providing leadership, end-to-end delivery, and dedicated strategic planning and oversight to a multi-year transformation of the Global Fixed Income ("GFI") business. This includes redefining the target operating model and accelerating the development of business capabilities front-to-back.

Further, AVPs contribute to upholding the overall reputation of TD. As bank executives, AVPs help to set the ethical, organizational and performance standard for the teams they lead and exemplify how an effective performance and positive colleague experience/development culture can be realized on a day-to-day basis. An AVP is expected to guide their team, collaborating as appropriate with TD partners to deliver excellent results in both the short and long term.

Accountabilities

Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of product(s) roadmap across all GFI lines of business and Technology/Operations/Risk aspects of the program with a delivery operating model to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, business growth and scalability. Accountable for key delivery decisions and aligning technology and business objectives into a shared delivery vision. Delivery decision includes assessment of multiple stakeholder and functional impacts. Accountable to influence and/or guide all executive levels across TDS in accordance with the GFI/US FI Product Strategy/Roadmap. Accountable for establishing and executing processes and practices that support the appropriate project-level delivery framework (e.g. Rapid/ TD Agile: cycle measurements, daily scrums,, sprint planning, testing, MVP mapping to releases); PDLC: requirements package, change management plan, testing plan, control processes for scope/requirements change Anticipates issues, trends and the potential impact and timely resolution of impediments, while effectively managing the program schedule (releases) and financials; ensuring continuing review and prioritization. Coordinates with respective enterprise control partners (e.g., EPDE, Strategic Sourcing Group, Legal, TRMIS, OCDO, etc.) to appropriately select, engage and manage external service providers as req'd Builds and leads a diverse Delivery team to effectively deliver business aligned objectives, front-to-back solutions and business as usual (BAU) sustainability Accountable for establishing and executing processes and practices that support the appropriate project-level delivery framework (e.g. Rapid/ TD Agile: cycle measurements, daily scrums,, sprint planning, testing, MVP mapping to releases); PDLC: requirements package, change management plan, testing plan, control processes for scope/requirements change Anticipates issues, trends and the potential impact and timely resolution of impediments, while effectively managing the program schedule (releases) and financials; ensuring continuing review and prioritization.
