About the position:
Alcool NB Liquor is seeking a Business Analyst Team Lead to support overall BA team delivery. Reporting to the Manager of Business Solutions, they will track team activities, recommend courses of action, and resolve escalated issues. This senior-level role collaborates cross-functionally with Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Project Managers, Business SMEs, and other stakeholders to provide updates during multiple projects and initiatives.
What will you be doing?
Ensure compliance to the set work process and provide guidance to the BA team in accordance to the policy. Providing overall BA team support, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads Reviewing BA team deliverables for quality and consistency Coaching other BAs, answering escalated questions when necessary Analyzing and defining BA team best practices, recommending improvements for efficiency and effectiveness Assisting Project Manager to establish project timelines, including estimation of requirements documentation and testing effortsAdditional responsibilities include:
Documenting business and system requirements, including feasibility studies, preparing business cases, and conducting initial risk assessments. 3 years’ experience analyzing current state and future state system capabilities to make recommendations and design solutions. 3 years’ experience creating project analysis documentation, including requirements, scope, milestones, use cases, future state proposals, UAT plans, Test Cases or process flows diagramming using Microsoft Visio. Identifying and escalating issues to ensure corrective actions are taken and project objectives are achieved. Works with the Sr. Project Manager to coordinate and provide Project Health Report (PHR) on all assigned small projects.Technical stack:
Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI Reporting, Power Platform (Apps), Azure, SQL, SSRS, and SSIS Business application systems, including e-Commerce, warehouse management software, POS, data warehousing, master data management, EDI, Finance, Payroll, etc. Work tools which include Microsoft Office Suite, Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project, Task PlanningRequired previous experience.
Business analysis experience as a part of an ERP Transformation Project and subsequent ongoing business and solution support post go-live. Previous experience across a variety of departments, including category management (beverage / food product-centric), marketing, product demand planning, warehousing, distribution & logistics, finance, business intelligence & master data. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Previous experience leading or managing a small teamWhat do you need to be successful?
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar Strong leadership skills to manage, motivate, and encourage team to accomplish their goals. Excellent management skills to set clear objectives and provide performance feedback. Builder collaborative relationships to gain consensus, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives.
