Description

The position will report into the Medical Education Lead and will support and will support the medical business on the execution of key educational tactics. The role will work directly with the cross-functional teams to coordinate, execute and lead the tactical medical education plans. It will also be accountable for coordinating all documentation associated with medical education events as well as handling the internal approval process. The role will work with external vendors on timelines and communicating execution plans.

Details (Your Responsibilities):

Initiate and oversee the planning, development & implementation of innovative, strategically aligned accredited, non-accredited and/or co-developed educational initiatives with physician associations, vendors, and Key External Expert (KEE) Steering Committee members. Ensure compliance of med ed programs are aligned to Innovative Medicines Canada and GSK internal requirements. Partner across brands to build valuable educational programs aligned to our strategic direction. Partner with the relevant Medical and Marketing Managers for development and implementation. Diligent vendor management to ensure programs are delivered on budget and on time while being consistent with program objectives and compliance guidelines Work closely with the cross-functional teams, especially Medical to ensure scientific leadership in Content and with Sales to ensure optimal field implementation Communicate and collaborate with other Medical Education Managers to share new ways to work and seek opportunities to streamline and harmonize CHE/OLAs programs Supports the creation of omnichannel tactical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams Analyzes metrics, industry trends and competitive programs to obtain insights into anticipated educational needs Supports In-field medical education activities by coordinating & supporting Field Staff in the execution of events Works with cross-functional teams to communicate and resolve medical education issues

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 4-6 years of pharmaceutical experience, preferably in medical education Strong attention to detail, prioritization, organization, and project management skills required Demonstrated abilities in the following areas: managing complexity, effective communication, and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment In depth knowledge of IMC code and internal compliance policies and procedures Demonstrated ability to evaluate metrics and results to optimize efficiencies and share best in class practices Proven examples of high learning agility and critical thinking in the development of educational projects is preferred
