Purpose


Contributes to the overall success of the GWO FXO Operations team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


What you'll do:

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Ensures timely confirmation and settlement of trades by tracking unmatched transactions across the unit & proactively analyzing/addressing root causes.  Provides insight and support to management during planning, organizing and successful implementation of projects affecting the unit’s operations. Pro-actively supports management efforts to monitor group activity so as to ensure internal control procedures remain effective, are understood and adhered to. Supports management efforts to motivate staff, increase individual performances, execute a robust training schedule and assign workstation responsibilities fairly. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.  Champions a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.


What you'll bring:

University Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Capital Markets  In-depth knowledge of all Bank policies, regulatory requirements, limits and controls which may affect or restrict all aspects of the day-to-day responsibilities for the unit. Thorough grasp of all operating systems and applications used by the unit.

Work Arrangement:


This position is currently a Hybrid role, with the expectation that you will work in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
