What’s the ask?

Reporting to the Operations Manager, Wealth Management, your primary purpose is to work closely with advisors in the development and management of the advisor’s book of business.

Your focus would be assisting the advisor on both new and existing business. 

Your goal will be to provide same day service on administrative functions while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. 

Key Responsibilities

Assist Advisors in meeting all service model actions for clients from pre-sale, issue and post issue changes by;

Supporting advisor with placing new business.Preparation of underwriting requirements for advisors, including managing the underwriting process to completion.Preparation of new insurance contracts for client delivery.Inputting and maintaining data in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - EPIC platform. Handling any post issue policy change requests from clients (i.e. beneficiary change, face amount changes, disbursements, death claims, requesting illustration)Highly responsive to advisor inquiries and concerns.Ability to deal with client resolution, including complaint handling and correcting errors.Develop and maintain good advisor and internal relationships while ensuring confidentiality.Support and backup for other Life Insurance Coordinators 

What does it take?

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within the Insurance Industry;You have strong knowledge of Life insurance and Living benefits products;You have strong experience with insurance carrier products and illustration software;You have strong knowledge of insurance carrier application procedures;University Degree/College Diploma (would be an asset)Individual Agent License (LLQP) (would be an asset)You have solid problem-solving skillsYou have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of productsYou have strong communication skills, both written and verbal;You have strong prioritization skills and flexibility and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment;You pride yourself in your strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy;Client confidentiality is of the upmost importanceAble to work independently and self-motivatedThis position is subject to appropriate background checks that may include credential, employment, credit, criminal and reference checks.
