Overview Type of position: Regular Your future role on our team You’ll report to the Product Manager, Corporate IT Solutions, and play a key role in enhancing data across the organization. Your mission will be to turn data into strategic insights that empower business teams to make informed, fact-based decisions. You’ll design, enhance and optimize the BI ecosystem, including the data warehouse, analytical models and dashboards. You’ll serve as a bridge between the technical teams and business units, helping stakeholders identify needs, define key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement tailored analytics solutions. You’ll also actively contribute to data governance, ensure information integrity and promote a data-driven corporate culture. You’ll work closely with the firm’s various stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Project Management, HR), your team members and other IT partners (development, infrastructure and service centre). With us, you’ll get the opportunity to: Develop and test applications and data integration solutions Perform technical analyses and estimate the effort required based on business needs Adhere to processes to minimize data quality risks and proactively identify potential issues Design, maintain and optimize BI environments and models Contribute to solution architecture and detailed design Modify and support existing applications Define roles and responsibilities for data ownership and management Identify and recommend opportunities to improve systems Perform unit and integration tests Lead business process modelling workshops Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI and SAP Business Objects Evaluate and integrate new BI solutions to improve organizational capabilities Document BI processes and reports clearly and thoroughly Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture? Results-driven Inspirational leadership Rigour and ethics Strong interest in the world of technology Passion for innovation Interest in solving highly complex challenges Summary of certifications and job requirements University degree in computer science, statistics, engineering or a related field At least five years of business intelligence experience Strong understanding of business processes (finance, HR, sales and project management) Experience as a data warehouse administrator and/or developer Excellent command of SQL and PowerBI Proficient with data warehousing and modelling principles Experience with Snowflake Participation in major transformation projects in agile mode Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients located in English-speaking Canadian provinces and abroad; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects Advanced French skills to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients outside Québec Asset: experience in a services firm Asset: knowledge of Maconomy (Deltek) and SAP Business Objects Asset: experience with Azure DevOps An overview of BBA’s total rewards Annual base salary Annual premium program for all regular employees Onsite mobility premium Access to a time bank Cellphone program Group insurance plan from day one, including short-term and long-term disability insurance and a telemedicine program Retirement savings plan Annual vacation and sick leave Premium offered through the Employee Referral program BBA considers many factors to determine annual base salaries, including but not limited to market, education, relevant and demonstrated work experience, technical assessment, qualifications, certifications and other relevant competencies.
