Business Intelligence Manager

Browns is looking for a passionate BI Manager that will be part of the Business Intelligence team. Your role will be to help the business to continue to embrace change through data by influencing and educating them. You will lead a team of BI analysts and developers by establishing and managing the priorities of the various projects and inform key stakeholders on progress. It will be your responsibility to implement the right set of processes to maintain very high quality of output.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be part of a fun and dynamic team
- Work with key stakeholders to document and prioritize new business requests for analysis and dashboards
- Support the team with any technical challenges and help them overcome those by providing guidance
- Stay abreast of any new Tableau feature releases to make sure the team is continuously using the latest features available
- Manage priorities of the BI team
- Implement agile working methods within your team
- Establish and maintain data quality & governance processes to ensure high quality of outputs
- Work in partnership with the integration team to document new data needs
- Provide weekly status progress to key stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in managing a team of developers in the fields of data, BI, or advanced analytics
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau preferred)
- Advance knowledge of SQL and/or Python to manipulate and perform complex analysis
- Passionate about data and forward-thinking in the role that data will play in the future
- Team player who is motivated in joining a highly dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, excellent with numbers, and strong business sense
- Extremely organized person who can manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Desire to work to an incredibly high standard for testing quality of outcomes
- Self-starter and desire to move projects forward and to completion
- Ability to process complex problems and communicate them into clear and concise business requirements
- Bachelor or master degree in information technology, mathematics, BI or related fields
- Ability to perform statistical analysis (an asset)
- Previous experience in retail (an asset)
- Bilingualism (French and English) written and spoken is required
