IT Business Analyst

Role Overview You’ll report to the Product Manager, Digital Work Environment. Your future role will improve user experience by optimizing collaboration tools and electronic content management. You’ll also handle daily activities involved in supporting, analyzing, and configuring systems and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You’ll work closely with various stakeholders across the firm, your team members, and other IT teams (development, business intelligence, infrastructure, and the Halo Service Centre). Type of Position Regular Responsibilities Identify, define, analyze and document business needs for various digital tools used by internal clients. Conduct benchmarking analyses of technological tools and software solutions. Provide evidence‑based recommendations to improve the user experience. Configure applications to meet business needs and processes. Apply standard practices and procedures when analyzing, documenting, and configuring solutions. Establish and perform unit and acceptance tests, coordinate testing with super users, and gather feedback before and after rollout. Prepare training material and assist with training activities for super users, where required. Help develop and implement information governance practices. Analyze and configure electronic document management (EDM) tools as changes are required. Qualities and Values Results‑driven. Willingness to work together while having fun. Rigorous and ethical. At least three years of IT experience. Ability to create clear and concise documentation and keep it updated. Proficient with MS 365. Knowledge of Microsoft DevOps and agile development methods. Knowledge of analysis methodologies. Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients located in English‑speaking Canadian provinces and abroad.
