We seek an exceptional senior engineering director to add to our rapidly growing company. A good candidate will possess an MBA along with significant management deployment in high technology product manufacturing, that extends well beyond their engineering studies and experience.
The Adamson brand is globally acclaimed, and a best-in-class industry leader. For forty years, we have made engineering and technology a hallmark of our product offering.
We develop and manufacture a complex array of products in two broad groups: electronics and electro-mechanical.
Electronics products include network switches, gateways, signal processors and power electronic devices controlled by a suite of networked software and interactive touch screens. This suite of products is developed and manufactured entirely on-premises, from bare metal firmware down to component assembly on our new SMD assembly line.
The electro-mechanical side of our product range is equally local. Devices, through the design phase, are fully simulated in multi-physic FEA/BEM as well as magnetic and CFD analysis. In our vertically integrated manufacturing environment, you’ll find a wide variety of cutting-edge technologies, including laser machining, CNC machining, and 5-Axis mold making for composite materials.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Engineering is responsible for delivery across multiple engineering teams and disciplines: electronics, mechanical, electrical, software and manufacturing. You foster an environment in which engineers perform at their best and grow both as individuals and as a team. You have experience managing product development from design to manufacturing. You have managed multiple disciplines in engineering with technologically complex products, ideally in both hardware and software.

- Represent engineering across the company in key initiatives ensuring delivery
Qualifications
- Recognized MBA with a B.Eng. or BSE in relevant engineering
- 7+ years building and managing high performing engineering teams
- 10 years or more of suitable work experience
- Exposure to product development for discrete manufacturing
- Organizational skills
