Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Marketing Specialist in our office in Ancaster, ON. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day marketing tasks, including website, digital content, market research, YouTube videos, marketing strategy development, lead generation, and creating graphics and documentation.


Major Responsibility Areas


Graphic Design: Utilize graphic design skills to create eye-catching visuals for digital and print materials, improving website appearance and content, including brochures, manuals, social media, email marketing, and website graphics.


Content Creation: Develop engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels, primarily LinkedIn and YouTube.


Social Media Management: Oversee our social media accounts, crafting and scheduling posts, responding to comments, and monitoring social media trends to keep our online presence fresh and engaging.


Trade shows & Conferences: Plan and manage industry events.


Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive analysis, providing insights to adapt and improve marketing strategies.


Collaboration: Work closely with sales, service and other cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with the overall business strategy.


Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.


Qualifications & Skills Requirement


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have technical education or experience
  • Genuine interest in people & technology
  • Experience with graphic design
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in instrumentation/electronics/Automation or related field
